OnePlus 11 Concept Phone With Active Cryoflux Liquid Cooling System.
According to OnePlus, the OnePlus 11 Concept phone comes with a liquid cooling mechanism, which is claimed to reduce the temperature of the smartphone by up to 2.1 degrees Celsius. The new Active Cryoflux system is also said to have an industrial-grade ceramic piezoelectric micropump fitted in the middle of the phone, and some blue piping fitted to the rear panel, which is also visible through the rear glass.
OnePlus claims that the micropump measures just 0.2 square centimetres, which means that the pipeline that circulates the liquid used to cool the handset could help keep the phone’s form factor slim. Due to this, the thickness of the phone can be kept around 5.04 mm and the weight of the phone can also be kept to a minimum.
OnePlus claims that this cooling system can improve framerates by up to 4 frames per second (4fps) during gaming. According to the company, the temperature can be reduced by up to 1.6 degrees Celsius while charging the handset, which will reduce the charging time by “30 to 45 seconds”.
OnePlus 11 The concept phone has a glass unibody design and the company says that it uses an electric field to “magnetron-sputtering the coating”, coating a small amount of metal and alloy on the phone’s case. Due to having glass in the rear, micro-liquid flowing through pipelines can also be seen on the panel.
The company’s new Active Cryoflux liquid cooling system is also laid around the rear camera module. The handset also featured ‘guilloché’ (a finely patterned technique used in luxury watches) around the camera lens.
OnePlus Other hardware specifications of the OnePlus 11 concept phone haven’t been revealed yet, but it is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. At MWC 2023, the firm also showed off the OnePlus 45W liquid cooler thermoelectric cooler, which is claimed to reduce the temperature of connected devices by up to 20 degrees Celsius.
